“Thank You M’am” by Langston Hughes is a story of a middle-aged woman, Mrs. Jones, complies with with a boy, Roger, who also attempts to steal money from her. In any case before your woman got swindled, she grabs the youngster and chooses to give him a lesson of his life. Mrs. Jones is presented as a thoughtful, trustful and good-hearted woman.
Part 1

” She reveals her charity to Roger that if he asked pleasantly instead of attempt to steal her purse, she could help him. Mrs. Williams can appreciate Roger’s difficulty because she was as well young once and the lady wanted points that the lady could not get, but instead of stealing useful things she decided to gain money with doing other stuff. Anyway at the end Mrs. Jones offers ten us dollars to Roger to buy himself a blue-suede shoes that he wanted.
She also provides a lesson to Roger. Mrs. Roberts admonishes him that he shouldn’t do any mistake of stealing anybody’s purse any longer. It shows how Mrs. Smith is considerate female that helps Roger even though the lady got swindled by him.
Part 2
Extra, Mrs. Williams portrayed as reliant woman who not view the Roger in her house. In quote “The door was open. He could make a dash for it down the corridor. He could manage, run, work, run, work! ” Mrs. Jones reveals her reliability to Roger. Your woman trusts Roger and the girl knows that he is not going to choose to run apart. Moreover, the lady left her purse behind her on the day negative where the Roger sits. The lady is absolute sure about that Roger is not going to attempt to rob her again. Mrs. Jones’ acts happen to be weird mainly because Mrs. Roberts knows Roger for an hour, and not a normal person permits a “thief” in his or her property. She attempts to say that Roger’s face is dirty wonderful face is will get laundered in her house. She usually takes him to her house to give him a lesson of his your life. Furthermore, the boy requests that is she going to take him to jail, but the female answers no. It shows that Mrs. Jones forgives him, because she was a young when and the lady can understand of teenage complications. Also the girl makes cocoa and reduces him a cake. As it is obvious via her actions, Mrs. Smith is amiable to Roger, even though he is a black boy.

In the end, Mrs. Jones teaches an important lesson to Roger about certainly not to do any mistake of stealing your purse or money. Roger says “Thank you m’am” to show his good manners to Mrs. Williams. He thanks for Mrs. Jones for money, foodstuff and being a good teacher. Then he leaves.
