In my theatre piece I have been creating during lesson times, I have performed several heroes to experiment with several ideas for the play. The characters I possess played have ranged in personality and exactly how they take action, for example , the vicar I actually portray inside the first picture is completely dissimilar to how I behave as a Bully for the scenes. I do believe that the ability to multi-role during my performances display that I could be two entirely diverse character types, showing nature that are nothing like me in real life.
At the beginning of the year, after i had just starting the episode course, I believed of a few interesting people and habits for my personal characters when we thought of some ideas. Although I had some great ideas to focus on, those tips have changed as the piece has progressed. Originally, I decided which the Bully My spouse and i portray through the entire performance was going to be high in volume and lively, and your woman didnt attention if the girl was caught because she would be more than happy with staying excluded for some days. This kind of seemed like a smart idea to start with. When ever my group created even more scenes with the play, I decided my character would be diverse from I initial planned.
Today, the Bully is still mean to people the girl doesnt just like but she’s less in advance about it, and feels practically ashamed once she is trapped by the professors or additional students whom witnessed her bullying others. I had taken a while to consider what her background could be, what was occurring at home once she wasnt in school and i also finally decided that her parents have got split up, and this in itself features affected the way she acts in school.
The girl lives with her mum at home although her mum is out every night, and is almost never at home on her daughter, which usually also influences my character in many ways. Once she is lovato people, though she adores doing it to get the fun, the lady still attempts to back down and not go too far so the girl doesnt harm people. However , because the girl used to bully people much more when the challenges at home just started, people still seem to pin the consequence on everything on her behalf which makes her defensive.
As the character with the bully has evolved quite a lot during the last few weeks, my personal other personality, the vicar, has more or less slept the same during. She might not be really silent and unhappy about needing to control the funeral since she has a lot of knowledge, so her tone of voice is apparent that she’s used to the sad ambiance. While the girl with saying her speech at each funeral, she stands tall and outstanding against the mourners stood about her. I change my own accent a little when I was playing the vicar, the girl sounds even more calm and caring with a softer accent than acquire to show that she cares about and provides empathy pertaining to the family members around her who have just lost a family member. I find it easy to change my character in each scene by changing my frame of mind and tone of voice, I think it is just something that comes very naturally to me.
