An effective public transportation system has several positive effects including reducing local and regional strength expenditures; lowering dependence on non-renewable fuels and overseas energy materials; improving the quality of life in the region as a whole; relating New Orleans with surrounding regions better to induce clustered economic growth; and reducing profits disparity by increasing use of jobs, general public services, and educational institutions. An effective transportation system is also tourist-friendly and New Orleans provides historically depended on holiday dollars being a large percentage of the economy. Finally, a networked transportation system will create careers.
One of the wonderful challenges in rebuilding Fresh Orleans is overcoming the overwhelming setbacks that have already occurred throughout the rebuilding procedure. Rescue efforts were affected by federal mismanagement of FIMA; the displacement of residents is never fully remedied by federal and state government; insurance providers have stranded their customers, ultimately causing deep and potentially irreversible economic depression in the region. New Orleans is at a pivotal point in the rebuilding process. In the event that enough great action is usually taken now, the city can avoid misallocating precious funds. New Orleans must restore itself as a socially only, economically practical, and modern American town.
