Amador To. Daguio was created on January 8, 1912 in Laog, Ilocos Aspiracion, but grew up in Lubuagan, Kalinga, wherever his daddy, was given as police officer in the Filipino Constabulary. During that period Amador started to be lonely. Through his loneliness he was powered to write poetry to express his feelings. The one of the poetry that Amador wrote was published in a National Syndication. Out of the university for the first term in 1928, Amador attained his college tuition 60 pesos by offering as a home boy, waiter and transporting the things in the officers by Fort McKinley.

2. SYNOPSIS/ SYNOPSIS
Awiyao and Lumnay were husband and wife to get seven years, but now the husband has to marry another woman, Madulimay, since Lumnay had not been able to provide him a child. (In their culture in the mountains during those times, having a child to adhere to after the partner’s name was a must. )
On the nights the wedding, Awiyao goes to his and Lumnay’s house to personally ask her to the traditional wedding party dance. Yet , Lumnay, the very best dancer in the entire group, refuses to get. Then, during their conversation, it can be revealed that they are all still love each other, nevertheless because of their tribe’s custom, they must separate.
Awiyao goes back for the wedding, for the wedding dance, after staying fetched by simply some good friends. Lumnay wants to follow, partly because of the move, and partly because she wants to put a stop to their tribe’s tradition of experiencing to get married to another spouse just to possess a child.

* The purpose of Perspective used in the storyplot is when the author tells the story in third person (using pronouns they, she, he, that, etc). We realize only the actual character understands and the actual author permits him to see us. You observe the thoughts and feelings of heroes if the writer chooses to expose them to all of us.
E. RADICAL LANGUAGE
2. The fictional device found in the story was Symbolism. There are plenty of symbols employed such as night, the homes four wall surfaces, the smoldering embers, as well as the beads. The darkness symbolizes how the two lead character types feel. At the same time, the homes walls symbolize the former couple’s “imprisonment. The smoldering embers that become glowing coals represent the love that the main personality towards the other person. Finally, the beads symbolize Awiyao’s wonderful love to get Lumnay, regardless if she aren’t give him a young child.
G. CONFLICT
* The conflict is usually between mother nature and tradition: the man ” representing traditions, and the girl ” symbols of nature. Awiyao’s decision to get married once again was because of the dictates of society. “Lumnay, if I did this it is because of my personal need for children. You know that life is not well worth living with out a child. The man have laughed at me in back of my backside. ¦ Awiyao was focused on what people will think about him. He was concerned that his being a guy might be wondered because of Awiyao and Lumnay’s failed work to have a child. He decided to follow the traditions of his tribe instead of what he really wanted.
