Ould – Avalon, the adventurous and admirable primary character of “The Leap’ written by Louise Erdich has many traits that prove her to be a very admirable female. Her child is very pleased to have her as a mom. Throughout this short account, it is quite obvious that Anna Avalon is usually talented, cautious and courageous. Considered to be “The surviving 50 % of a blindfold trapeze act (Pg. 190) Anna Avalon is very talented. She experienced previously been a musician. “Anna with the Flying Avalon’s She had been involved in many performances and was definitely a crowd favorite, Anna experienced performed various “Double somersaults and heart-stopping catches (Pg.
90) Yet , one day there had been a tragic accident. While seven months pregnant, lightning struck a rod resulting in 3 deaths.
inch Lightning hit the main rod and sizzles down the guy wires, filling up the air having a blue radiance (Pg. 192) Anna was your only one who survived this kind of tragic crash, this displaying talent.
Along with talented, Anna Avalon is incredibly careful. She is an aged lady residing in New Hampshire, with impaired eyes. Although blind, “she has never disappointed an object or perhaps as much as covered a mag onto the ground. She has under no circumstances lost her balance or perhaps bumped in a closet door left thoughtlessly open. The “catlike precision of her movements’ (Pg. 190) might be due to her early teaching. The staircase to her upstairs room was cut off by flames and so everyone was outdoors thinking there is no relief. “Outside, my personal mother was standing below my dark windows and found clearly that there was simply no rescue. (Pg. 195) Nevertheless , Anna Avalon did everything in her power to insure her daughter would be secure.

She has done many things in her life to help other folks and we see that she is a great person. Via her actions, Anna Avalon is skilled, careful and brave.
