Diseases that affect individuals are many instances categorized in to either a male disease or maybe a female disease. In other words, the general public views the illness as being usually carried by males or by females. Anorexia and bulimia are almost always classified being a disease that affects mostly females. These illnesses may also be classified into different categories depending on what all their cause can be thought to be. Margaret Helwig, writer of the brief story “Hunger,  feels that “anorexia and bulimia are particularly feminine statements about consumption and consumerism.
