In Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, the main personality Abigail Williams is to to take responsiblity for the witch trials in Salem, Ma. Abigail can be described as mean and vindictive one who always desires her approach, no matter who also she is painful. Throughout the play her claims and is placed cause a large number of people discomfort and struggling, but the lady seemed to under no circumstances care for some of them except Ruben Proctor, who she recently had an affair with seven several weeks prior to the beginning of the play.

The lies begin to unravel since the reader dives into the book. John Proctor and his wife Elizabeth utilized to employ Abigail, until Elizabeth found out about the affair between her hubby and Abigail.

Abigail declared that they were bewitched, and began to name those who were supposedly working with the devil. Nothing could stop her from safeguarding herself. Once John pressured Mary Warren to tell the truth about the is placed that she, Abigail, plus the rest of the ladies were telling, Abigail proclaimed her chasteness and then began to accuse Jane of being a witch.
