The final stage is the genital stage, which in turn takes place coming from puberty on. The genital stage is a time of lovemaking awakening, in fact it is the first time each time a child begins to look for sexual pleasure outside of their family. Freud used this kind of theory to prove that experiences later in life must do with things that occurred in one’s before years.

Another theory that helps to understand development can be Jean Piaget’s Cognitive Creation Theory. This kind of theory shows 4 levels of creation that clarify how people adapt to and organize their particular experiences. The first stage is sensorimotor which lasts from labor and birth to a couple of years of age. In this stage, kids combine sensory and engine skills to understand the new and confusing community that they are surrounded by. The second stage is preoperational which happens from two to 7 years of age. In this stage children continue to integrate words, images, and drawings in the other skills that they produced to understand the earth in the previous sensorimotor stage. The next stage is concrete functional which continues from about 7 to 11 years old. In this level, kids seriously begin to understand how things around them in a logical way, and they become better at employing objects, not merely their own skills to do so. The final stage of this theory is definitely formal which will begins at age 11 and continues through adulthood. This is when individuals seriously begin to believe in abstract ways and truly be familiar with world surrounding them.
