Interact Club

Interact club is the high school extension of Rotary, an international aid group. Our mantra is "Service Above Self." We are a community service group focused on working towards helping our community into a better global community. Every Interact club in the Bay Area contributes to an International Project established at the beginning of every year by the Interact District Council. The entire year is focused on raising money and awareness about our International Project.
Plus Us+ Club

Plus Us+ allows ASTI students to directly team up with foundations such as the AIDS Emergency Fund and Avon Walk For Breast Cancer. These cooperative activities allow ASTI students become aware of current diseases by raising money for charity. Furthermore, students spread awareness of the problems that our community faces everyday. As a result, ASTI students gain opportunities to do group work and gain leadership skills.
Soccer Club

Otherwise known as "Soccer Fridays," students and teachers in this club are given the opportunity to play co-ed intramural games! We meet almost every Friday from 3:20-5pm and play against each other by splitting into two random teams each week. Since the games are informal, students are only expected to know the basic rules and tactics and dress like they would for PE (some students however choose to bring their soccer gear). Not only does this serve as a way to stay active, but it allows ASTIians to practice sportsmanship, meet new people, and have fun!
Political Science Club
Club President: Vanessa C. Polisci Club happens every other Tuesday during lunch. Students are encouraged to interact and become interested in politics. Fun games such as a Polisci-poly (Monopoly) have been used to get people more involved.
Red Cross Club

The Red Cross Club is a part of the Red Cross Bay Area Chapter. In this club, we participate in events that the Bay Area Chapter has planned, or we set up events of our own! All events in this club will contribute to students' community service hours. All proceeds from our fundraisers and events go towards the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter. In this club, people can learn about how to take better precautions towards future natural disasters, and how to respond appropriately. Meetings are on Fridays in Ms. McCoy's class, from 12:15 to 12:45.
